It is common practice for investment-based projects, including those on blockchain, to provide a roadmap. The purpose of a roadmap is to present a clear overview of the project’s steps, subgoals, and timeline that lead to the ultimate objective. Along with clear proof of past achievements.

As I explained in my book Wrapper, from an investor's perspective, a roadmap is an essential tool for building trust between project leaders and investors. A roadmap does not only outline what is planned but also reflects past accomplishments, demonstrating subgoals that have already been achieved. Providing tangible evidence of results that align with the plan reinforces trust and is critical for informed investment decisions.

The development of my art, however, has followed a different path. I am someone who is driven by an unstoppable desire to create, grow, and evolve as an artist. This inherent passion is the cornerstone of what offers strong fundamentals for investing in my art. Simply put, as long as I am alive, I will continue creating art as I have for the past two decades.

At the same time, my artistic journey thrives on a free-spirited approach that resists the constraints of rigid planning. Strict plans, with their predetermined timelines, create a pressure that stifles my creativity and hinders the natural flow of my work. Such limitations can block progress rather than promote it. Furthermore, we have repeatedly seen how overly restrictive frameworks fail in various projects, causing delays and unmet expectations that lead to a loss of trust from investors. Life itself often has other plans.

On this page, I offer you a clear overview of everything I have accomplished over the past 20 years, alongside broader ideas of what I aim to achieve in the future. My persistence and passion, evident in every action I have taken, are fully transparent and traceable on this website. Moreover, I believe that openly communicating both my vision and my boundaries demonstrates a level of integrity and consistency that makes my art a solid, long-term investment.

PAST ACHIEVEMENTS

CREATING AND FINISHING ARTWORK

Over the past twenty years, my artistic practice has been a continuous process of exploration and realization. I have completed four large-scale installations, alongside a substantial body of numerous drawings and paintings. My narrative work includes around twenty short graphic stories and three longer graphic novels, each approximately one hundred pages in length. Mostly on my native language, but also a lot of translated artwork and publications in English. My creative output also extends into the realm of music, encompassing one multimedia album that weaves together a written story, digital art, and filmed videos, as well as three mini LPs comprising a total of around forty songs. Furthermore, I have finished book Wrapper and I have two more in the making. While I have successfully translated some of my most significant works into English, I recognize the importance of making more of my portfolio accessible to an international audience through further translation and publication. More about that in the future development description. 

EXHIBITIONS AND INNOVATION REWARD

Throughout the last two decades, I have actively participated in the art world, showcasing my work in numerous solo and collective exhibitions. Beyond simply exhibiting, I also took a leading role in two distinct art organizations, where I spearheaded the organization of exhibitions and various media events, fostering a vibrant artistic community. A particularly significant moment in my early career was the creation of my exhibition, “Service for spatial dynamics” which explored the potential of applying the principles of strip art to broader artistic and formal displays, questioning the conventional limits of genre. This exhibition, which showcased what I termed “spatial and alternative strip,” was presented as the winning entry for the SCC (Student Cultural Center, Belgrade) award for “innovation of the 9th art” at the annual 5th International Strip Salon hosted by SCC in September 2007. It was a great honor that my exhibit was selected to serve as the introduction to that year’s prestigious strip salon at the SCC.

HISTORICAL RECOGNITION IN DR. DRAGANA KUPRESANIN'S DOCTORAL DISSERTATION

While the innovation award for “Service for spatial dynamics” was a significant early achievement, an even more profound recognition for my work has been its inclusion in the doctoral dissertation of Dr. Dragana Kupresanin. She is a highly respected author and art expert from Belgrade, that holds a doctorate in Art and is a leading voice in the field of experimental 9th art within our region with over 5 rewards for innovation. Since 2008, her research has focused on challenging the conventions of experimental comic art through innovative concepts like spatial, inclusive, and performative comics. Her doctoral dissertation, "The Invisible Wave – Experimental Tactile Comic,"  is an exceptionally comprehensive and detailed publication on the history of this art form in the region. Within this authoritative work, she examines the significance of my “Spatial Strip  Installations, placing them within the context of the art history of Yugoslavia. To have my work recognized and positioned as a significant part of the artistic historical narrative of Yugoslavia by such a knowledgeable and respected Doctor of Art in the field of experimental comics is, in my view, the greatest recognition I could receive. It validates the conceptual foundations and innovative nature of my “Spatial Strip” and solidifies its place within the broader art historical landscape of our region.

My work has garnered significant attention from various media outlets. I had the privilege of being a guest on the National Television of Serbia, as well as featuring in numerous local radio and television programs. WEBSITE AND SOCIAL MEDIA

This website has been active for several years, but I recently undertook a significant reconstruction. Initially conceived as a purely informative platform, it has now evolved to partially function as a marketplace for both my original artworks and my upcoming NFT collection. I secured a domain name that is memorable and established an social media presence under the same name, successfully building a communities with few thousand followers. Importantly, this community has grown organically through genuine interest in my work, evident in the high levels of engagement and the thoughtful private messages I have received.

INVOLVEMENT WITH BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY 

My involvement in the cryptocurrency market has been active and multifaceted over the past five years. My journey began in 2018 as part of an investor pool known as Origin X Capital (OxC)/Paragon Labs. In 2019, I also contributed as a community manager for Alsa Labs. During the last significant market uptrend, our investor group was among the early participants in numerous Initial Coin Offering (ICO) projects, including ICON, Wabi, Eximchain, APEX, Qlink, The Key, Fortuna, FinTrux, Trinity, Tomocoin, Oracles, Matrix, Beetoken, Switcheo, Wanchain, Coinfi, and many others. My engagement further evolved into active day trading in the spot market, which subsequently transitioned into futures trading. This extensive experience has provided me with a deep understanding of Technical Analysis (TA), Fundamental Analysis, and Sentiment Analysis. These insights will be invaluable in the creation of my NFT collection, as they have given me a keen awareness of the factors that contribute to a project's genuine value and a broader understanding of overall market dynamics. I also maintain strong connections with professional blockchain investors and developers who continue to offer valuable advice and information.

MOVING TO ROTTERDAM

As mentioned in my Biography, I was born in Yugoslavia in 1983. I lived and created in Serbia until 2011, after which I maintained a dual residency, living and working in both Serbia and the Netherlands, frequently traveling between the two countries. In 2021, I made the decision to move permanently to the Netherlands. This move has opened exciting new avenues for my creative development. The Netherlands is a country rich in culture and innovation, with a very open and supportive environment for both business and the arts. As a resident here, I now have access to various forms of government support, including grants, different types of funding and assistance, as well as connections to relevant organizations, institutions, and creative spaces. My plan for the coming years is to leverage these opportunities by strategically combining art, blockchain technology, and the business landscape that the Netherlands offers. My future plans will be detailed in the following sections of this roadmap.
